My jewelry is handcrafted from scratch using traditional metalsmith techniques. I mostly use .925 sterling silver or base metals to create my work. My favorite process is hand carving and lost wax casting. After I cast my waxes in metal; I clean them, set stones, solder and polish the pieces.
My jewelry designs are inspired by fantasy, mythology, literature and symbolism. I like to tell a story through my work so people can connect with it, the way I do when I create it.
The word, “Mage,” translates to someone who practices magic. I chose this name because when I posted videos online of my jewelry making process people would often comment, “it’s like magic!”
