The Doylestown Arts Festival is seeking a selection of interactive art activities for this years annual event! Each year we are proud to feature a wide array of live art and activities for all ages to enjoy. These art based activities also help to create an exciting energy throughout the event, helping to unify the town-wide experience around the arts. This application may be utilized by non-profit and for-profit organizations. Activities unrelated to the arts will not be considered.
The Doylestown Arts Festival is a juried event. Each activity application is juried by a volunteer committee. This ensures that the festival features events that best align with the vision and goals of the festial to support the local arts community and inspire young artists. Applications must be submitted by the application deadline to be considered for admission. Applicants will be informed of their application status typically within 3 weeks of the application closing.
Organizations and businesses can apply to showcase a demonstration or live art. If accepted, activity booths are $350 each. Vendors are responsible for their own tent and materials. No electric or water is provided. Sound systems are not permitted. Only art-related activities will be considered.
The Doylestown Arts Festival is always seeking new ways to add interactive and live arts to the weekend. Have a new idea? Apply!
Because our event draws thousands of families, we do expect all activities to be family-friendly and acceptable for a public space. Activities that contribute to fundraisers, public good, or community improvement are always welcomed.
We provide an empty 10x10 space for you to setup as needed. We encourage tents for protection from the sun, heat, and any other weather. There are no rules on tent color or style, so long as your setup fits within your allotted space. All tents must be weighed down.
We do not accept space requests or reservations. The show layout is designed primarily to create a variety of styles and genres through the festival.
Displays must not block sidewalks and all tables must be covered to the ground with packing materials neatly out of sight. No electric is available for artists. Booths may not be shared unless you applied together. Vendors are not permitted to change spaces or move their setup without permission from the festival directors.
Expectations of Conduct
We expect all of our vendors to be kindand courteous to each other, attendees, and our volunteers. Vendors are not permited to walk the streets with products or samples. Any disputes between vendors should be brought to the attention of a volunteer so it can be resolved quickly and fairly. Failure to observe these basic requests is grounds for removal and disqualification from current and future shows.
Our festival goes on, rain or shine! In the rare and unfortunate case of extreme weather we would cancel the affected day(s). We are not able to have a rain date due to the location and permits of our festival.
All fees are non-refundable. This includes booth fees, application fees, reservations and add-ons, even in the unlikely case of a show cancellation.
