I create cyanotypes which are produced by combining two naturally occurring chemicals onto paper or fabric and exposing the coated medium in the sun or under a UV light to produce a prussian blue "negative" image of the subject placed on top of the paper or fabric.
I'm inspired by nature and all the the intricate and often overlooked, yet beautiful, shapes and patterns found on plants and flowers.
Cyanotypes are actually a form of camera-less photography and have been widely used as such since way back in the 1800's!
