When working with animals or people, I go through the reference thoroughly and make sure everything down to a stray hair is accounted for in my sketch. I work very diligently to make sure the drawing is as close to, or as perfect as the reference. A drawing my client can cherish is my top priority.
I'm inspired by my great grandmother, who was an incredible artist. I was shown her work at a young age when I was just getting into making my own art and ever since then, I have worked day in and day out to try to get to the level she was. My ability to create beautiful art comes from her.
