Creating imaginative, colorful abstract acrylic fluid art is challenging but so satisfying! Movement, texture and fluidity are created using professional acrylic paints, special additives and manipulating the paint via hairdryer, straws, marbles or chains. I guide the paint but it has its own mind!
My bold, bright paintings are inspired by the beautiful sunrises, sunsets, flowers and gardens. The meditative paintings come from my memories of the beach and the sea. Everyone can relate to nature and come away with something from my paintings!
Ha! The room I paint in is a real mess! There are certain shoes and clothes I paint in and gloves are a big help, otherwise I have paint under my nails for a week! The floor is covered with newspaper and I find paint splatters everywhere. The old me was super neat and this allows me to let go!
