I add acrylic paint directly to the surface of the photograph. Approximately 25-30% of the image is enhanced which gives it more depth and dimension. Some images are converted to black and white and the enhancements are more pronounced. Items can also be "removed" or "added" with the paint.
In nature it could be woods, flowers, city streets, beach and bay areas as well as random objects that have a unique quality. That is where it starts, photographing beautiful or interesting places and things and then adding the acrylic paint to give the photo more dimension.
I can do a photo shoot in the winter and when I add the paint, it can look like it could be any other season I choose.
