Process

I enjoy creating colorful, whimsical glass pieces, using my own designs as well as methods I’ve learned from other artists. Once I cut/lay out a piece I fire up to 1500° for 24-72 hours. I may need tile saw or cold working (sanding, grinding polishing). I am always excited when I open the kiln door.

Inspiration

My inspiration is color, shape and texture. I love the way light bounces off glass. I also love the reaction I get from other people who also find excitement in glass. I am inspired by other artists of many different mediums.

One fun fact about my work is that I get inspired and excited by everything I see every day.
