Slabs of lowfire clay and wheel thrown shapes, are combined with coils and clay textures for a rich level of surface complexity. Contrasts in matte to shiny glazes are layered with underglazes.
Eyeless oceanic creatures and plant lifeforms are the subject matter for for my focus.
Watching the movie Titanic in 2003, inspired me to start creating my Barnacle-wear pieces.
