Process

I have a very large and continuously growing collection of vintage yardsticks which I use to frame vintage art, and to create custom boxes, lazy susans, coasters, bowls and a wide variety of other useful items. Much of my work revolves around the craft of woodworking.

Inspiration

I am constantly surprised and inspired by the tremendous variety and artistic creativity found in antique and vintage yardsticks. In buying and selling antiques for over 30 years, the opportunities to combine unique vintage elements with old yardsticks offers an endless array of combinations.

Fun Facts

I genuinely enjoy my quiet time in my shop creating new and interesting items, but I absolutely love engaging with show attendees, both dealers and buyers. I always have the most interesting interactions and have made many new friends through my association with the few juried shows I do each year.
