Starting with stunning antique and vintage frames, I rescue old, worn and forgotten piano and pump organ parts to create wall hangings of all varieties. I also use some of those parts and make unusual sculpture. I also find interesting musical instruments (mostly stringed) and decorate them as art.
To return to the Doylestown Arts Festival and continue where I left off last year. I was so pleased and amazed at the reception the crowd had and it's a joy to be a part of the visual arts scene. These old and forgotten instruments deserve life once again and the inspiration to create is a joy!
Walking by a large Victorian frame in my house day after day inspired me to dismantle two old keyboard instruments, strip them and create something I'd be proud to hang on my wall. Someone saw it and asked if I'd sell it. I did just that and things steam rolled from there!
