Jewelry

My Process

I majored in Jewelry at the Tyler School of Art and since graduating in 2019, I have been creating handmade jewelry and hand-knit clothing. Everything I create starts with a sketch and is then brought to life with various tools and techniques, such as stone setting, soldering and knit textures.

My Inspiration

I am inspired by nostalgia, memories and the thought that what we adorn ourselves with can become a part of our identity. I frequently reference architectural motifs, Italian fresco imagery and the natural world in my work. I also find inspiration in the multitude of colors found in gemstones.

Fun Facts

With much care and detail, I hand carve my jewelry in wax and then bring it to a local casting company in Philadelphia to be cast in metal. I then clean the raw castings and set the stones if needed.
