My Process

My work includes original paintings depicting the African way of life. An intimate portrayal of the beauty of Africa. Most of my artwork is acrylic on canvas but lately I’ve been expanding my body of work with collages.

My Inspiration

I find inspiration anywhere. Everything that catches my eye can serve as inspiration for my art. Sometimes I’m inspired by fellow artists I meet, or places I’ve been, and other times I’m inspired by things I’ve seen that arouse my curiosity. I convey my emotions and feelings through art.

Fun Facts

I’ve been known to use bright colors (red, purple, orange) to convey joy and happiness while using darker tones (gray, black) to convey sadness or despair.
