My work is based in moments and places that impact me. When in front of the sea, I want to find a way to keep that moment, as it is, feeling the wind, the sound of the waves, the magic of being present right there. Then I will go to my canvas, draw, mix all the colors that will make this happen.
Nature, forest, the sea, the birds, emotions, dance. I have been dancing flamenco for a long time, bringing the dance to so many places. Ruffles represent moments that I have been collecting and emotions. So my ruffles bring movement to my art and I bring them to all the magic places.
I know for a fact that my art moves people in ways that still amaze me. That is why I paint. I am lucky to have someone standing in front of my painting and start to tell me how they feel. And then see that painting go and make someone happy.
