For as long as I can remember I have loved painting with acrylic paints. After attending art school I carried on with that medium, painting characters for prints, books and custom pieces for others. I start with a sketch and then paint it in to transfer to the computer.
One of the greatest joys for me has always been to create art and to enjoy the content that other creators share. Whether it's illustration, design, animation, fine art or puppetry. My heroes include Jim Henson, Quentin Blake, Mary Blair, Walt Disney and the animators working during the '90s.
My favorite thing is when folks tell me how much my work made them laugh. I'm the kind of person who laughs at my own dumb jokes and I love when other people can enjoy something I found funny to create.
