My Process

I start with a wood panel and then I apply a layer of metallic leaf foil on the entire panel. I then seal the foil and then paint acrylic paint on top, leaving parts of the leaf exposed to create a reflective metallic effect.I have both original paintings and high quality reproductions of my work.

My Inspiration

I am inspired by all things nature, animals and figure. I like to combine things such as flowers and leaves with human figure and faces as well as animals to create a unique and imaginative world. Bright colors and positive energy all influences my work as well.

Fun Facts

I like to go on long hikes with my sketchbook to gather ideas for my paintings, typically in the Wissahickon. When I got for hikes I like to leave my phone at home or in the car to really spend some time to connect to nature.
