Pushing boundaries, ignoring rules. My copper foil stained glass is abstract yet functional, mixing colors, clear texture glass, bevels & found objects. Also an avid knitter, knit wire elements enhance some pieces.
Inspired by nature & my Jewish roots, my works express a longing for a more peaceful time. Tree of Life motifs bring together earth, sky, seasons & constant change. Abstract designs represent chaos we all feel within the boundaries of our given space. Knit inspired designs add creative escapism.
I first learned the art of Stained Glass as a craft store employee over 40 years ago in order to sell supplies intelligently. Fell in love with the medium and the rest is history!
