We create risograph-printed zines, posters, and ephemera using bold colors and layered inks. Our process blends digital and hand-drawn elements, exploring composition and color separation. Through Private School, we celebrate storytelling, independent publishing, and the creative potential of print.
We’re inspired by print’s power to connect, share ideas, and preserve stories. Private School values DIY publishing and the tactile nature of print—each misprint, texture, and color tells a story. We celebrate print as a tool for creativity, collaboration, and making ideas tangible and accessible.
Each risograph print we make is slightly unique due to the machine’s quirks—misalignments and ink variations create one-of-a-kind pieces. We embrace these imperfections, turning them into design elements that add character and authenticity to our work.
