Unique wood and resin turnings that are handcrafted one of a kind pieces. All items are turned on a wood lathe. All items start as a piece of tree log or branch and then lathe turned into a beautiful piece of wood art.
My inspiration is to recycle a piece of wood that may be ignored or thrown away by most woodworkers and turn it into a work of art. I sometimes use epoxy resin to add brilliant colors to my art pieces. I create pieces that come from my own thoughts and design.
Fun fact - Sometimes the finished piece is totally different than what I initially planned. As I shape and carve the wood, a particular grain pattern or feature in the wood may appear and cause me to rethink my design so that the uniqueness of that piece of wood is preserved in the finished piece.
