Process

Richly detailed, sepia toned silver gelatin photographs printed individually by hand from film negatives. From a long project photographing animals at rescue sanctuaries and in landscapes

Inspiration

Growing up on a Pennsylvania farm I developed a deep love of animals and rural life. I began photographing rescued animals at sanctuaries around the country including the famous Farm Sanctuary in New York, and realized I could use the popularity of the images to raise funds for shelter support
