Materials are selected for their individual beauty and cut to size, drilled lengthwise, trimmed and turned on a lathe to the rough shape. On another lathe, the blanks are sanded to the final shape, finished with a 12 step process, wet sanded, polished and buffed prior to final assembly.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of unique materials from all over the world to match with them with complementary hardware to create a special writing instrument for someone to enjoy for themself or give as a meaningful gift.
