Professionally, Cote focuses on editorial work while her personal projects explore the depths of emotion, capturing the intense feelings she experiences in life. Cote believes that art is a powerful medium for expression, and is on a mission to encapsulate those raw emotions in her work.
Raw emotions are what fuel my work, and what I strive to capture. As a person who has always felt her emotions so wholly, sometimes to a fault, I see the works of life mimic those same feelings. I strive to give a truthful place for those feeling to be seen.
When I went to France I studied Camus, and his philosophy of life became an inspiration in my work.
