Through sculpting, carving, and casting I shape sterling silver and bronze metal clay into pieces that celebrate nature and speak to your soul. The pieces are kiln fired and then ready to be used in metal smithing techniques like soldering. My work is oxidized for a carefree and quiet feel.
Growing up and living in the country I’ve been surrounded by nature my entire life. The animals, the plants, even a cloud can spark my creativity. My favorite thing is to observe the little things that are so frequently overlooked in my surroundings like moss spores.
My most giggled and talked about piece when I’m at a show is my maple seed jewelry. People reminisce about throwing them up in the air or sticking them on their noses as children. It’s pure joy!
