I create small botanical cyanotypes using found plants, sunlight and water. These artworks are characterized by a deep prussian blue color, inspired by the natural world. I have framed originals in vintage frames and open edition prints available.
I'm inspired by walks in fresh air, quiet and remote landscapes and the tiny details of plants and flowers.
My work may look like printmaking or painting, but it is technically photography! Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic processes, dating back to the 1850s.
