Textile art created with natural fibers and vintage natural fabrics. Sustainability is an important part of my art practice. I make original wall art using hand dyed hand felted wool. I hand dye, paint or print vintage textiles to use for collages, with hand stitch, steel wire and encaustic wax.
I am inspired by the natural world from tiny mosses and mushrooms, to waves crashing against a rocky shoreline. Some of the experiences are in my rural surroundings and others from my travels.
I use flowers from my garden to dye some of my fabrics.
