My work is created from donated and found paper materials like magazines and books. I cut, tear and weave the paper and glue pieces down in fun compositions to create detailed collages. Most of my work can be described as surreal but also includes abstracts, flora/fauna, portraits and landscapes.
People inspire me. I can bring joy to my collectors when I create custom collages based on their spirit and favorite things. Much of my work is inspired by word prompts, nature and then free association. I'm pleased when my work sparks curiosity and wonder in others which inspires me to create more.
Some of my collages are created from vintage magazines from as far back as the 1930s.
