My work is all paper collage from mostly magazines that I've had donated to me or have found. I use the paper like paint or cut out whole images and splice them together. The paper is typically applied to the substrate with either glue stick or Mod Podge.
I'm inspired by storytelling. I like to create scenes that reveal more and more detail as they are viewed. Sometimes it is a collection of images that suit a specific collector's character and is completely customized. Sometimes I'm drawn to an image and creativity flows from there.
Some of my paper collages are made with magazine pages from the 1930s.
