Process

Observation and absorption are key for me. I like to put all I see into my blender and lop it around until I am ready to make work and then it is puree time! I work with recycled materials showing responsiblity to the future and allowing the work to be priced a way that makes it attainable to all.

Inspiration

Altman is a big comic book, comic strip, animated movie fan. He also finds inspiration in galleries, museums, and grocery stores. The cereal aisle has great colors. "Observation is key for any artist", says Altman

Fun Facts

When I sell an original piece of art to a young person, and it is their first piece of original art I introduce them to the crowd and tell them about this first step in becoming a collector of real art. They always applaud.
