Process

I cut the wood to precise measurements for the cavity nesting bees to use. Some of our boxes have plexiglass so people can observe the bee or other insect nesting. All of the boxes come with a QR code to a PDF that educates on how to use the box. Beeswax luminaries are hand dipped in hot wax.

Inspiration

Bees and pollinators are our inspiration. This is the root of our business is to educate about their importance and we get to work together as mom and daughter.

Fun Facts

Obviously, we love bees, honeybees were the base of our business, so sometimes I get stung when I’m working the beehives, it hurts but I still love it. Now we have branched out to educate about all the different species of bees, many won’t even sting and all the many important pollinators around us.
