My Process

All tiles are hand carved from original designs. Tiles are painted with glazes formulated by the artist. The tiles are fired in an electric kiln in my Kennett Square studio.

My Inspiration

I merge my love of horticulture and the natural world with my childish joy of playing in mud into making my tiles. My love of the outdoors is inspiration for my art.

Fun Facts

I come from a long line of potters. My family came to the United States from Stoke-on-Trent England in the 1800's to work in the potteries of the Ohio River Valley.
