My process consists of visualization, field-craft, camerawork, in-studio development of the image using digital methods, then printing. I use a variety of techniques, some complex, and a variety of optics to achieve the images.
I am interested in the medium of photography as an art form. My inspiration comes from a life time of studying nature and art. Esthetically, my goal revolves around the belief that one can achieve feelings of awe from everyday experiences.
The majority of my work has always been made within half an hour drive of my studio.
