I create images using traditional and contemporary methods with an emphasis on artistic rendering. I tend to work close to the studio in areas I know best and have the greatest emotional connection to. I studio, I print, mat, and frame using museum-preferred methods.
My work is grounded by a fascination with nature and a background in animal behavior. For over 22 years though, I've been a full time artist with a desire to translate my perception of the nature around me into visual works of art that communicate the beauty and importance of our natural world.
People think I've traveled "all over" to create my images, truth is most of my work has been made a half hour from my studio or on our Pennsylvania farm.
