My Process

I am a representational oil painter, with a strong focus on color relationships and bold brushstrokes. I like to work alla prima, and really try to make painting a daily practice. I have a small in-home studio where I explore all kinds of subject matter in my work- my favorite being urban landscape.

My Inspiration

I find inspiration in my daily life: the power lines and street signs seen on my morning commute, the natural beauty of Bucks County, all the way down to the citrus peel on the counter! Someplace surprising that inspires me: the negative spaces found within the trees.

Fun Facts

I am close to completing my personal goal of 500 oil paintings! I began counting in January 2019. (...and I will continue painting after reaching this goal!)
