I transform raw geology into abstract & whimsical sculptures and hi-relief rock mosaics. A diamond blade lapidary saw shapes my palette of 120+ river rocks, crystals, fossils, lightning struck fulgurite, copper, amethyst, and iridescent and chatoyant minerals, connected with silicon and thinset.
We live isolated from the mineral world our ancestors were immersed in. I'm inspired to reconnect people with nature creating art through a palette of 120 chatoyant, iridescent, crystalline minerals and ancient fossils—bringing their geological energy and beauty back into living and working spaces.
Recently featured on PBS/WHYY-TV. 75 of my works have found 60 collectors. I'm an inventor, award-winning journalist, author, founder of groundbreaking conferences on story and positive psychology and software architect who pivoted to art at 73.
