My work often begins digitally or as hand-drawn sketches, but each piece is finalized as a digital drawing. I separate the image into layers, print transparencies, burn them onto screens, and hand-print each color on paper. Some prints are finished with marker details.
Often times I'm inspired by other artist, but on daily basis, nature, animations, graphic novels. My son is almost 5 and he loves to draw so sometimes we collaborate and that always keeps my creative spirit going.
Alot of my pieces I try to follow two rules; one is I try to make it feel like your catching a moment, a still frame in the middle of an action. Secondly, I try to draw something you havent seen before, although my subject matters might be familiar I try to keep the focus unique.
