The Tiffany copper foil method involves creating a pattern design, then cutting glass shapes to match each piece of the pattern. Each shape's edge is wrapped in copper foil, then arranged and soldered together to form a panel. The panel is then framed in zinc or wood.
Everything! I love envisioning how images would look as a stained glass panel! I am mostly drawn to animals, but I also enjoy creating florals and butterflies. Abstracts are another inspiration for me - anything that catches my eye that makes me think, "that would look so cool in glass!"
I listen to 70s, 80s, 90s music or audiobooks and podcasts while I work. I call it multitasking!
