My Process

This quote by Muriel Rukeyser informs my work both as an artist and writer, Breathe-in experience, breathe-out poetry. My artistic approach begins with a Leica camera and the use of digital paintbrushes. My work is filled with colors while retaining the photographic base.

My Inspiration

Working as an art educator in elementary classrooms, meeting the now and future artists, teaching and watching them use their newly found skills is an inspiration to my soul. They inspire me!

Fun Facts

I often speak to the public about my techniques and where the photograph was taken. This helps people to understand and sometimes they remark, oh I see it now.
