My Process

Functional and decorative stoneware clay with textural treatments, stains and glaze, inspired by Celtic imagery, trees, Japanese Bonsai and Western landscapes. Forms include whisky flasks, wall pieces, vases and platters.

My Inspiration

My work has always been inspired by nature and landscapes, particularly as interpreted by Asian, Celtic and 19th century American traditions.

Fun Facts

My work in clay in recent decades has been informed by my previous artistic lives as a photographer, painter, drawer and sculptor.
