Process

Decorative works in stoneware clay, with imagery created using handmade and found objects to obtain textural patterns. Forms include larger wall pieces, one of a kind tiles, and vases.

Inspiration

My work is inspired by nature, landscape, plants and trees. These subjects are interpreted through the influence of Asian, Celtic and numerous other art historical styles.

Over 50 years, my work has evolved through shifts in style, chosen medium and technical approach - yet has remained remarkably consistent and recognisable.
