Needle felting is done by wrapping wool around a wire frame and securing it with a barbed needle. Thin, wispy layers of wool are added and secured over and over until the final form is reached. Then details such as color markings, eyes, nose, and ears are added as the personality emerges.
All dogs everywhere! My dogs come in all shapes and sizes, each possessing its own personality and wearing an expression of enthusiasm, curiosity, sadness, happiness, silliness or mischievousness. Each one delights me, carrying the hope of igniting a dog’s unbridled joy in us all.
It takes about a basketball sized ball of raw wool to create one of my 5” tall dogs
