Slab style clay work combining my original poetry and hand drawn artwork. Clay slabs are rolled to thickness my poetry handpressed using old typeset. Artwork is hand drawn onto clay and hand carved. Each piece is original, finished with either found wood or solid oak mortise & tenon craftsman frame.
Husband & wife collaborative team whose artwork is derived from life experiences. Artwork combines two art forms, the husband's poetry & the wife's illustrations onto craftsman style ceramic tiles. They want to create artwork that many can identify with throughout the different stages of life.
We use our dogs to encourage us to explore the world...We find inspiration in nature as we hike with our dogs from East to West. We hike with our dogs daily and collect sticks which we use to hang our artwork...You may found an extra special piece of our work finished with bite marks.
