The Doylestown Arts Festival benefits Discover Doylestown, a 501(c)3 organization of volunteers working to make Doylestown a great community to live, work, and visit. The funds from the festival go directly back into the local community via events, town improvements, decorations, and donations to fellow organizations.
The festival draws a huge crowd of families, art enthusiasts, and local residents each year. We reasonably estimate that the festival sees 20,000 - 30,000 attendees throughout the weekend, weather pending. We are fortunate to attract a large quantity of active buyers to support our vendors and local community.
The Doylestown Arts Festival features 150 juried artists, over 30 acts of live music across 5 stages, an array of interactive demonstrations, a food court, activities for all ages, and dozens of pop-up events, sales and specials organized by local businesses and organizations.
Doylestown is a unique small historic town in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Named the Best Small Town Cultural Scene in America in 2019 by USA Today, our community boasts an independent movie theater, a word-class art museum, a series of incredible events and dozens more cultural organizations, museums, and small businesses.
All of the artists who are invited to participate in the festival are independent creators crafting unique works by hand. Our artists range from fine art and photography to metal workers, jewelry designers, glass blowers, potters, and much more. There is an exquisite variety of art each year.
The Doylestown Arts Festival began humbly in 1991. Since then the community support, quality of art, variety of activities, and media coverage of the annual tradition has grown steadily. From a single street to a town-wide celebration, it has been an enormous joy to see this tradition come to life and continue to grow.
